GREENBIZZ II BRUSSELS
Location: Brussel
Client:Citydev.Brussel
Since 2016, Greenbizz I has been a key hub in the Brussels-Capital Region for innovative businesses operating within the sustainable, social and circular economy. It functions not only as a building, but as an ecosystem and network that connects partners and stimulates innovation. Greenbizz II builds on this success as an extension of this hub. The new building is a compact structure with four productive floors and a limited footprint, organised around three forecourts. This layout creates space, flexibility for logistics and a strong connection with Greenbizz I. As the cornerstone of the complex, it exudes strength and presents itself as a contemporary industrial machine: robust, vertical and distinctly functional. The architecture emphasises visibility and activity, with light-filled workshops visible from ground level and a façade that acts as a showcase for innovation. Urban farming on the roof and dynamic loading and unloading zones reinforce the image of a vibrant production environment. Circularity is central, with a focus on adaptability and the reuse of materials such as brick and steel. Greenbizz II thus embodies the circular future of urban industry in Brussels.
